Measurements and Analysis of AC Losses in HTS Windings of Electrical Machine for Different Operation Modes

The article is devoted to the study of losses in devices based on high-temperature superconductors 2nd generation. complexity under increases from a single rack coil winding assembled several coils, and finally an electric machine operating generator mode. This way experimentally behavior generation high temperature superconductor (2G HTS) carrying transport current various conditions: self-field, external DC, AC magnetic field. Attention also paid during its operation inverter, which simulates conditions motor mode propulsion system.
